INFORMATION
druig from the mcu's eternals (2021). just goes by druig amongst mortals, hasn't bothered coming up with an alias. came to earth 7000 years ago. an ancient immortal living in hiding with mankind and protecting them from monsters known as deviants, although the eternals exterminated the last of them centuries ago. he's been living in an isolated commune in the amazon ever since.

is kind of a blunt asshole and can be a complete troll. very poorly socialised and doesn't bother playing nice — unless you're makkari, because he has a soft spot for her about the size of south america. he does also care about humanity, although his telepathic/empathic powers means he struggles a lot with their darker sides.

abilities: immortal. some enhanced strength, durability, speed, agility, stamina. the big one is mental manipulation, telepathy, and possession: he regularly bends mortals' minds to his will, controlling them like puppets, and has considered doing so for everyone on the planet for their own good. (it's very problematic. he still needs some swats on the nose to learn why mind control = bad.)

fluent in heaps of languages, including sign language & various dead ones.


PERMISSIONS
BACKTAGGING: always yes! i can be incredibly slow and will backtag into forever.

WRITING STYLE: present-tense prose vaguely preferred, but i'll happily match brackets.

PHYSICAL CONTACT: no. he's extremely standoffish and withdrawn, like a very grumpy cat. hates hugs; only doles them out for very special occasions amongst his family or, again, if you're makkari.

MENTAL CONTACT: always and all the time. druig has a big problem with just casually dipping into people's minds to read them or even outright possess the person. i'll try to check in with you first before breaking this out in a scene, though.

FIGHTING/INJURY: he's not one of the fighty eternals — he prefers not getting his own hands dirty — but in a pinch, he'll jump in and use mortal guns.
